Sixty years ago, when I was still a boy, I was forced to live as a physically challenged person because of illness and accident that left me with subsequent complications which impedes walking. All I could do was to watch children around my age from a distance while they were outside playing baseball and catch.

There was never a lack of friends, but when everyone was gathering and playing, I was  alone at home playing and enjoying being solo. One of the fun activities of  such childhood was the monthly magazines for boysand toys made of paper attached to them as freebies.

Those toys are the ones that you would assemble from printed and cutout cardboard. Sometimes they were battleships that are 50 cm in length, vehicles from the world of the remote future, and mysterious things that you would never guess  its mechanism . They were sort of what we call “objet d’art” nowadays.

Back then, I was so fascinated by and really into such “toys" as a little boy. I still remember the days when I was playing with them all day until the corners of the paper got rounded, collapsed, and broken.

As the days and years went by, I became an adult and started my career. Then eventually, the life got so busy with work that I couldn’t even spare a moment to think - Why do I work so hard like this? For what?

Yet the life still goes on, and I had to accept it as it is and keep devoting myself for work in order to make a living. However, one day, I realized that this is not how my life should be. It wasn’t like me. I started to think that I would end up regretting it someday if I continued my life like that. I began to think that I have to leave something in this world that no one else could.

* When I was young, I read a book that introduced the story of French postman named Ferdinand Cheval who built  over time. Cheval was in his 40s when he started this project from the moment he tripped over a stone during his mail delivery work.

Well here I was, still  busy with work, I had no time for a spare time, but then I realize that "I should not sleep!”" "Give up my sleep to make an art!" Why didn’t I notice such an easy solution before?  Then, I decided to put my sleep aside  from that day.

What a stupid thing I had in mind back then

Well, sleepless nights couldn’t last for that long,  so I started to make my own time with some efforts in order to draw pictures or make three-dimensional works.

At that time, I didn't have enough time to spare for my own artwork, so I couldn’t make much progress with its productions, but only slowlyHowever, despite whether it is good or bad thing, the amount of work gradually started to decrease and my free time increased instead as I got older.. So I said to myself continue with my works with what I felt in my childhood as a basis

I decided to create something that  "moves in action" as much as possible by adding knowledge and experiences that I have earned over time and some of the mechanisms and gimmicks of "the toys" that I used to play when I was a child.

The top page of my website talks about NEOTENY as in the retention of juvenile features in the adult animal. In fact, what I am doing is tracing the joy I felt during my childhood even as an adult

In that sense, my mental self has not aged since I was a little boy.. If I’m allowed to say this, I think it would have been the case of the postman Cheval that I have mentioned earlier.

NEOTENY WORK is the name I have chosen to call such a state

      My job

I've been working mainly on textile design for a long time. Until 20 years ago, I used to make designs of printed cloths drawn with ink poster colors on "paper". At that time, a friend like "God" appeared and said, "Are you going to live this kind of analog way of life! I will teach you the way of cutting-edge design!" Work without a Mac. Thats how its going to be. And to now.

   Education background

Oh, I feel like I went out of high school. Even now I think that I could not study because I had a nightmare that I could see at once in a dream in a classroom and see a classmate with an unknown face all at once. I think the human level is about the second "Level 2" from the bottom.

I think that the work has been done up to this year for textile design one line, there was either talent or luck.
